Helping children and adolescents navigate ADHD, anxiety, trauma, and emotional challenges, through compassionate therapy.

Maybe you have noticed that something has changed with your child or teenager. They may be worrying more, becoming easily overwhelmed, struggling with emotions, withdrawing from family or friends, having difficulties at school, or displaying behaviors that you are not sure how to understand.

You may have tried talking with your child, reassuring them, setting limits, or encouraging them to “try harder.” Yet something still does not seem right.

As a parent, it can be heartbreaking to watch your child struggle and not know exactly how to help. You may wonder whether what you are seeing is anxiety, ADHD, trauma, depression, behavioral difficulties, or simply a child having a difficult time navigating emotions and everyday demands.

Your child does not need to have it figured out before asking for help.

Evidence-Based Therapy Tailored to Your Child or Adolescent

I provide compassionate, individualized therapy for children and adolescents ages 6–17 who are experiencing anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, and behavioral difficulties, including disruptive behaviors associated with ADHD.

One of the evidence-based approaches I use is MATCH-ADTC (Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or Conduct Problems). MATCH is designed to be flexible, allowing treatment strategies to be adapted to a child's individual strengths, needs, and goals rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

What Is MATCH-ADTC?

MATCH provides a flexible toolkit of scientifically supported strategies that can help children and families address emotional and behavioral challenges at home, at school, and with friends. Treatment is individualized based on what your child and family are experiencing.

Your Child Deserves to Be Seen and Understood

Dr. Dasa in CA &NV Specializing in MATCH therapy.

My approach combines Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Virginia Satir principles, and evidence-based strategies for working with children and families.

I believe that children need more than someone who focuses on changing their behavior. They need to feel seen, understood, accepted, and supported while they learn new ways of responding to difficult thoughts, emotions, and situations.

My goal is to help your child develop greater emotional flexibility, self-understanding, confidence, and connection while helping your family develop practical tools for navigating challenges together.

If you are wondering whether therapy may be appropriate for your child, I invite you to reach out. We can talk about what you have been noticing, what your child is experiencing, and whether my approach may be a good fit for your family.
